Mission: Who we are
SMSA is a family-oriented church rooted in the Coptic Orthodox faith, focused on serving the needs of the English-speaking community and converts in the Central Pennsylvania region. Through demonstrating the love of Christ, we welcome people from all nationalities and strive to relate to the needs of the families in our community.
Vision: How we do it
Our aim is to reflect the image of Christ by:
developing deeper relationships with Christ through understanding the faith,
living authentically in fellowship with the whole body of Christ,
experiencing Christ through communal worship in the liturgical services,
and serving each other and our community.
Goal: What we strive to be
As a Christ-centered community, we hope to grow as one family through shared values and a feeling of being home. We will labor passionately to raise a generation that is excited to come to church. We strive to continually be renewed and transformed with the goal of becoming more like Christ.
